Description

As an RN Transplant and Cellular Therapy at HCA Healthcare, you will deliver specialized nursing care to patients undergoing stem cell transplant, CAR-T, and other advanced cellular therapies. You’ll assess, plan, and implement evidence-based care, manage infusions, monitor for complications, and coordinate multidisciplinary support from admission through follow-up. In this role, you’ll educate patients and families, ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and document care accurately. Provide direct nursing care to transplant and cellular therapy patients across the continuum of care
Administer chemotherapy, cellular therapies, blood products, and supportive medications per protocol
Continuously assess patient status, interpret labs and diagnostics, and respond to acute changes
Monitor for and manage treatment-related toxicities, reactions, and complications
Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, side effects, and post-discharge care
Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation and care plans
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards specific to transplant and cellular therapy
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Support orientation and mentoring of new staff and contribute to a culture of teamwork and learning
